Vacation

Well, I realized today that it's been a little while since my last post, and there's a grand explanation for that! I'm on VACATION! Yeah! We've been at my husband's grandparents home for the past week and have thoroughly enjoyed the time off. This trip has been comprised of a number of "firsts" for Gracie...Swimming in a "real" pool and going off of the water slide with Daddy; getting professional pictures taken (I know, I know! I should've had them taken before she was two!); eating Grandma's pies; experiencing her daddy's love affair with fireworks, and more!

I love the midwest. Jarod's family were homesteaders here back in the 1930's and many of the homes are original. They've been kept in great shape. His grandparents' house is like stepping into a country farmhouse. I feel very at home here.
